Catherine Arnould est une architecte d’intérieur et designer belge dont le parcours professionnel se distingue par une riche diversité d'expériences et de réalisations. Elle commence ses études en Art à Londres, avant de poursuivre en Architecture d’Intérieur à l’institut Saint Luc à Bruxelles. Sa formation se complète par un stage chez Jean Michel Wilmotte à Paris et des ateliers avec Jean Nouvel, qui affinent son sens du détail et son approche créative.
Après ses études, Catherine part à Casablanca avec son mari architecte, où ils travaillent durant deux ans dans un bureau d’architecture. Cette expérience marocaine est marquée par l’apprentissage des techniques artisanales locales, la finesse des matériaux, et l'intégration du jeu des lumières. Elle acquiert une compréhension profonde de la beauté d'un travail ancestral mis au service d'une architecture contemporaine. Ils réalisent plusieurs projets résidentiels et suivent la réalisation d'un hôtel Hyatt au nord du pays.
De retour en Belgique, Catherine rejoint les sociétés "Traces" et "Decort & Dervichian". Elle participe à des projets variés, allant des résidences privées aux espaces de bureaux, en passant par des projets éphémères. En parallèle, elle réalise l'aménagement de bureaux pour des entreprises prestigieuses comme Duvel/Moortgat, L'Oréal Belgique, et Solvay Belgique.
Parallèlement à sa carrière professionnelle, Catherine enseigne l’architecture d’intérieur et le design à Saint Luc Bruxelles pendant cinq ans, transmettant son savoir et sa passion à de nombreux étudiants.
En 2005, Catherine lance "Katarsis", une ligne d'accessoires textiles et de linge de maison. Utilisant des tissus des années 1920, elle crée des pièces uniques qui portent fièrement le label "made in Belgium". Ses créations rencontrent un succès tant en Belgique qu'à l’étranger.
En 2009, elle retourne avec sa famille au Maroc, à la limite du Sahara Occidental, où elle rénove un hôtel datant du protectorat espagnol. Cette aventure renforce son expertise en rénovation et son amour pour les projets imprégnés d’histoire.
Depuis 2010, Catherine continue à exercer en tant qu'architecte d’intérieur, se consacrant à divers projets résidentiels et de bureaux, incluant la rénovation d'un appartement à Paris. Son travail est reconnu pour son attention au détail, son intégration harmonieuse des éléments traditionnels et contemporains, et sa capacité à créer des espaces uniques et fonctionnels.

Catherine Arnould is a Belgian interior architect and designer whose professional journey is marked by a rich diversity of experiences and accomplishments. She began her studies in Art in London, before continuing with Interior Architecture at Saint Luc Institute in Brussels. Her training was further enhanced by an internship with Jean Michel Wilmotte in Paris and workshops with Jean Nouvel, refining her attention to detail and creative approach.
After her studies, Catherine moved to Casablanca with her architect husband, where they worked for two years in an architecture firm. This Moroccan experience was characterized by learning local artisanal techniques, the finesse of materials, and the integration of light play. She gained a deep understanding of the beauty of ancestral craftsmanship in the service of contemporary architecture. They completed several residential projects and supervised the realization of a Hyatt hotel in the north of the country.
Returning to Belgium, Catherine joined the companies "Traces" and "Decort & Dervichian". She participated in various projects, ranging from private residences to office spaces, as well as ephemeral projects. Simultaneously, she designed office spaces for prestigious companies such as Duvel/Moortgat, L'Oréal Belgium, and Solvay Belgium.
Alongside her professional career, Catherine taught interior architecture and design at Saint Luc Brussels for five years, sharing her knowledge and passion with many students.
In 2005, Catherine launched "Katarsis," a line of textile accessories and home linens. Using fabrics from the 1920s, she created unique pieces proudly bearing the "made in Belgium" label. Her creations achieved success both in Belgium and abroad.
In 2009, she returned with her family to Morocco, at the edge of the Western Sahara, where she renovated a hotel dating from the Spanish protectorate. This adventure reinforced her expertise in renovation and her love for projects steeped in history.
Since 2010, Catherine has continued to work as an interior architect, dedicating herself to various residential and office projects, including several projects in Belgium and abroad. Her work is renowned for its attention to detail, harmonious integration of traditional and contemporary elements, and ability to create unique and functional spaces.
